The EKOTHERM heating strips are made from a special aluminum alloy that is coated with insulation material. With their very small thickness and large width, it allows us to place them on almost any surface, and to cover up to 80% of the heated surface.
They work at a low voltage of 12-48V, which makes them very safe for the health of people and pets, can be installed on all types of floors and floor coverings because they work in the low temperature mode, providing a very pleasant feeling of warmth.

What sets the EKOTHERM heating system apart from other heating systems, like heating cable systems is our special aluminum alloy heating strips. With only 0.25 mm in thickness and a variety of widths ranging from 5-17 cm (depending on the heating system power) allows for coverage to 80% of the heating area. Low voltage current is passed through the heating strips using a step-down transformer which allows the heating strips to start working efficiently and effectively. Heat is transferred immediately and in the space where it is needed, therefore the efficiency is very high and there are no losses on pipes, chimneys, on the insulation of hot water tanks etc. The efficiency of these systems does not change with the outside temperature as with heat pumps, and the very high difference in the cost of installing heat pumps gives us a great financial advantage over them. They do not require special maintenance and cleaning services, you can install them yourself very easily and quickly, they do not produce noise or sounds.

EKOTHERM heating systems are made in several different powers to be adaptable to different user needs. The table below lists the technical data and the area in m² that these heating systems can heat. If necessary, these heating systems can be made in another heating power to adapt them as much as possible to the needs of the users.

The figure below shows an example of how to install a floor heating system, in this case on a concrete slab with thermal insulation, a thin final layer of concrete and a floor covering.

Outline the area of the
heating system placing,
eliminating fixed furniture, step back 15-30 cm from the wall.

Prepare a place for the installation of the system unit (10-20 cm above the floor) and thermostat (150 cm above the floor).

Install the system unit and securely fasten the 1 end of the strip on the block together with one cable on the power supply.

Begin laying the strips. The laying distance (the distance between strips) depends on the object ( it is indicated in the instruction).

Fix the strips at bends to the floor with reinforced scotch tape.

Lay the strips in a way that allows the second end of the strip to freely enter into the power supply unit.

Use a tester to check the heating strips for electrical conductivity and electric resistance on the strip. a way that allows the second end of the strip to freely enter into the power supply unit.

Securely install the 2 ends of the tape into the power supply along with the 2 power supply cable.

Cover the entire area of the room over the laid strips with facade fiberglass mesh (needed only if going liquid screed, tile adhesive, cement floor or similar.

Apply liquid screed, tile adhesive, cement floor, or similar, and wait that will dray. After dray lay any floor covering.

Connect the thermostat according to the instructions, and then connect the power supply cable to the mains connection (look in the instructions).
